Our Guarantee at BigText
At BigText, we stand behind the quality of our work and are committed to delivering on the promises we make. We guarantee that all of our services will meet the high standards agreed upon before the project begins, and we pledge to adhere to the delivery dates set in the agreement. We understand how important it is for businesses to receive high-quality work on time, and we take that responsibility seriously.
What to Do If You Are Not Satisfied
We are confident in the quality of our work, but we also understand that sometimes things may not meet expectations. If you are not fully satisfied with the work we deliver, we are happy to provide a revised version at no extra cost. Our goal is to ensure you are happy with the final product, and we will work closely with you to make any necessary adjustments.
If, after receiving a revised version, the work still does not meet your expectations, you have the right to request a partial or full refund. We believe in transparency and fairness, and we want our clients to feel secure when working with us.
To make sure disputes are resolved fairly, we have outlined the process for filing a complaint and the steps involved. This ensures both parties are clear on expectations and how any issues can be addressed promptly.
Handling Delays in Delivery
At BigText, we aim to always meet deadlines. However, we understand that sometimes delays are unavoidable. If a delay in delivery occurs and exceeds 33% of the originally agreed-upon time frame (measured in business days), we will offer compensation. If the delay is solely due to BigText’s fault, we will reimburse up to 100% of the cost of the job.
We believe in being transparent about our timelines and making sure our clients are informed if any unforeseen delays occur. Our team works hard to deliver the highest quality within the agreed timeframes, but we also take accountability when delays happen.
General Sales Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all services provided by BigText to our clients. These terms ensure that both parties have a clear understanding of expectations, pricing, and responsibilities.
Before beginning any work, we require an official order from the client outlining the agreed-upon price and the scope of the work. This order must be submitted via email or other accepted methods of communication. We reserve the right to decline any work that does not include an official order. This helps us ensure clarity and prevent misunderstandings.
For technical content projects, clients are required to provide reference materials, such as documents, diagrams, or other relevant resources. These materials help clarify the work and ensure that we can meet the specific needs of the project.
Pricing and Payment
Pricing for our services is typically based on the word count of the source text, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We believe in providing transparent pricing, so clients can be confident in the value they receive.
If a client cancels an order after work has already started, we charge 100% for the completed work up to that point. Any unfinished work will be billed at 50%. This policy helps us maintain fairness for both parties.
Invoices are due within five working days of issuance, unless otherwise specified. Late payments will trigger the immediate collection of the full outstanding amount, including any potential interest calculated based on the official rates at that time. Clients are also responsible for any costs incurred by BigText in recovering overdue payments.
If payments are overdue, work will be suspended until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
Limitations of Liability
BigText and its partners do not provide warranties related to the services offered. We do not offer any implied warranties of merchantability, suitability for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights. Additionally, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or lost profits arising from the use or performance of our services.
It is important for clients to understand that while we take great care in delivering quality services, we cannot guarantee perfection, and our liability is capped at the total amount of the invoice for the specific project.
Harmful Content Policy
At BigText, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees and freelance collaborators. We do not tolerate the distribution of harmful, hateful, or offensive content, including graphic violence or any form of discrimination.
If a client requests translations or services involving sensitive or potentially harmful content, they are required to flag such material upon placing the order. This ensures that we can manage the safety of our team and freelancers effectively.
BigText is committed to maintaining an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment that supports diversity across all aspects of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and other personal attributes. We encourage our clients to join us in fostering a respectful and positive working environment.
Client Responsibility
Clients are also responsible for providing accurate and clear instructions and reference materials for all projects. Any failure to do so may result in delays or additional charges to ensure the work is completed correctly.
Additionally, clients should be aware that BigText is not responsible for delays caused by issues outside of our control, such as problems with external systems like email or fax services.
