Our Guarantee

BigText guarantees high-quality work and adherence to agreed delivery dates.

If you’re not satisfied with the work provided, we will offer a revised version at no extra cost. Should the second version still not meet your expectations, you are entitled to request a partial or full refund. The process for disputing work is outlined below.

In the event of a delay in delivery, if the delay exceeds 33% of the originally agreed time frame (calculated in business days), and the delay is due solely to BigText’s fault, we will reimburse up to 100% of the job cost.

General Sales Conditions

These general conditions apply to all services provided by BigText to its clients.

All translation or content creation requests must include an official order outlining the agreed price. This order should be submitted via email or other accepted methods. We reserve the right to decline any work without an official order.

For technical content, clients must provide reference materials, such as documents, diagrams, or other resources that help clarify the nature of the work.

Pricing is based on the word count of the source text unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If a client cancels an order, work completed up until that point will be billed at 100%, and any unfinished work will be billed at 50%.

Invoices are due within five working days of issue unless stated otherwise. Late payments will result in the immediate collection of the full outstanding amount, with potential interest calculated based on the official rates applicable at the time. The client is also responsible for any costs BigText incurs to recover payment.

Work will be suspended in the case of overdue payments.

BigText is not liable for translations that do not meet stylistic expectations. For example, for advertising content, our service is limited to straightforward translation unless a specific request is made to alter the tone or style. Our liability is capped at the total invoice amount.

Complaints will only be considered if received via registered mail within seven days of job delivery, accompanied by the original documents and an explanation of the dispute. After this period, the work will be deemed satisfactory.

If a valid complaint is filed, we will provide a corrected version of the work at no extra cost, delivered within one-third of the original deadline, plus one business day.

BigText is not responsible for delays caused by issues with external systems like email or fax.

Liability

BigText and its partners do not provide warranties related to the services offered, including implied warranties of merchantability, suitability for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or lost profits arising from the use or performance of our services.

Harmful Content

BigText maintains strict standards for the safety and well-being of its employees and freelance collaborators.

We do not tolerate the distribution of harmful or hateful content, including graphic violence, and reserve the right to cancel any orders deemed inappropriate.

Clients who request translations involving sensitive or potentially harmful content must flag such material upon placing the order. This ensures that we can manage the safety of our team and freelancers effectively.
